Dedication

Psalms 63:1-8

O God you are my God. Early will I seek You. My soul thirsts for You. My flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land. Where there is no water. So I have looked for you in the sanctuary to see your power and Your glory. Because Your loving kindness is better than life. My lips shall praise You thus will I bless You while I live…..

Introduction:
• David is our role model of a person dedicated whole heartedly to the Lord.
• God chose Saul to be king over Israel, but eventually, because of his heart attitude, God rejected him and sought for a man after His own heart in the person of David.
• David has a great desire to please God and he always find refuge in God’s holy presence. He has a daily devotion early in the morning.
• David finds great pleasure and satisfaction in being intimate with God.
• His earnest desire is to please God.

I. David longs for God therefore every morning he will come to Him.
A. As a dedicated christian, let us develop a daily one on one devotion to Jesus.
B. Let us seek Him.
• 1. Know His will
• 2. Know what He wants you to do.
• 3. Study His word and let God speak to you through His word.

II. David developed a daily Worship time for God in his quiet time in the morning.

A. As a christian start your day on a quiet time with God praising Him for His loving
kindness bestowed to you that day.
B. End the day with worship for His faithfulness during the day.
C. In everything give Him thanks.
D. Even if no one notices you God is in the secret place of your bed.

Commitment

Luke 23:46

And when Jesus cried with a loud voice he said: “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.” Having said this He breathed His last.

Introduction
• We should imitate Jesus as He has set to us an example that we should follow.
• Jesus has committed to God everything, even His spirit unto His death.
• He did not waiver in His commitment to obey His Father’s commandment.
• Jesus did not sin though He was tested in every way to prove that He is the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Thus He was committed to save us.

I. Jesus was committed to do His Father’s will.
A. John 4:34. Doing God’s will is His food.
It gives Him:
1. Strength to do the job.
2. Fuel to put Him on fire.
B. Philippians 2:8. He was obedient unto death. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name above every other name, to show us that as we obey God He will highly exalt us together with Jesus.

II. Jesus was committed to His disciples. John 17: 8-26A. Verse 8. He has fed He His disciples with His Word.
B. Verse 12. He has kept them.
C. Verse 14. He has prayed for them. He is our mediator to God. 1 Tim. 2:5.
D. Verse 18. He has sanctified them.
E. Verse 23. He has united them.
F. Verse 28. He has loved them.

III. He is committed to the vision.John 10: 15-18A. He is totally dedicated to the gospel.
B. His vision is to bring all christians together under one shepherd in His person.
C. He is in the work of uniting His Church and filling the earth with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the earth. Habakkuk 2:14.

Biblical Mandate: The Personal Obligation and Urgency for Evangelizing

Over-All Purpose:

The participants will be convinced why evangelizing is a personal obligation and an urgent task to be passionately accomplished.

General Learning Objectives:
The Participants will be able to:
Define evangelism and identify key features of the missionary God in the Bible
Understand the fallen condition of humanity and their need for the Savior
Know that the Sacrifice of Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, who died in our behalf is God’s only remedy for our salvation.
Personally commit to evangelize in response to God’s love in obedience to Jesus’ command.

What is evangelism?
Evangelism is the process of winning a soul and making him a disciple of Jesus Christ.
A. Win souls
B. Make disciples

What is winning souls?

Winning souls is the process of bringing a soul out of the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.
It is removing him from the power of satan and connecting him to the power of the Holy spirit.
It is setting him free from the bondage of sin to the freedom that is in Christ Jesus.

What is making disciples?The biblical definition of a disciple is a follower of Jesus.
Making a disciple is enabling a person to follow Jesus by:
A. Setting an example Matthew 28:19.
B. Teaching him to obey Jesus in a personal way. That by obeying His commandments, he will remain in Him.
He who has the Son has Life. He who has not the Son has no Life.

Being Rich in God’s Kingdom (Matthew 19:21)

Introduction: 

The 3 Things you have to do to have Treasures in Heaven.
1. Sell what you have
2. Give to the poor
3. Follow Jesus

I. SELL WHAT YOU HAVE
A. Trade with Jesus your life and everything you have in your life and everything you have in exchange for His Eternal Life.
B. Trading means letting Jesus be your owner. The owner of your business, the owner of everything you’ve got.

II. GIVE TO THE POOR
A. The poor are all who have no personal relationship with Jesus and without eternal life.
B. The Gospel must be preached to the poor.
C. Get involved in soul winning and making disciples. Be part of the great move of God.

III. FOLLOW JESUS
A. Only the things done for Christ will last.
B. There is a sure reward for our obedience to Jesus. I Cor. 15:58

Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Introduction:
1. Our God is a God of Hope.
2. God is filling us with joy and peace as we believe in Jesus.
3. That we may abound in Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
It is the Holy Spirit that pours on us the Hope that comes from the Father.

I. We should know our God.
He is the God of Hope.
A. Those who know their God shall be strong and do great accomplishments.
Daniel 11:32
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.
B. Paul’s desire was to know Jesus. (Philippians 3:8). Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I haqve suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
1. Paul did great exploits for God. He evangelized the surrounding countries in Asia and Europe.
2. Paul had a reputation of: “The man that turned the world upside-down.

II. God is filling every believer
With Joy and
Peace.

A. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Hebrews 12:2.
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the c ross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

B. Cast all your cares upon Him in prayer.
Just obey.

The whole universe remain until now because all of His creation obey Him.

D. Trust Him.
If God is able to light

The whole universe and sustain it,
Can He not provide
Your needs.

ABUNDACE

John 10:9-11

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Introduction:

1. Jesus is the Door. 
a. Door symbolizes a change of life and direction.
b. It is an opportunity.
2. The thief is satan.
a. His purpose is only to steal and kill and destroy.
b. Satan will not do anything good. Have nothing to do with him.
3. Jesus came to give you:
a. Life
b. Life of abundance
4. Jesus is the Good Shepherd.
a. He gives life for the sheep.
If you are a christian you are His sheep.
I. God’s will is abundance.
A. Ephesians 3: 17-21. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be a ble to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length, and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forlever and ever. Amen.
God gives us the abundance by Christ Jesus.
1. We need to be rooted and grounded in Love.
2. We need to know the Love of Christ.
3. We need to be filled with the fullness of God.
B. John 15:4-5
Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.
We need to remain in Christ
1. In order to bear much fruit.
a. win many souls and raise disciples.
b. be a blessing to others.
c. accomplish things for family, ministry and community.
2. Without Jesus we can do
Nothing.

II. Jesus is My Shepherd. 
A. Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want.
1. In times of trouble you will have enough supply.
2. In situations of darkness, you will have light to know what to do. He will lead you.
3. In areas of depression and discouragement, He will lift you up and guide you.
The Lord is my Shepherd
B. Psalms 23: 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
If we continue to follow our Shepherd
1. Goodness and mercy will always follow us.
2. We are sure to go to heaven.

God bless you with life of abundance and overflowing blessings.

The Crown of Glory

1Peter 5:1-7

The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed;

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by c ompulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; not as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. Likewise you younger people submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you, be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

Introduction:

1. The elder should shepherd
The younger.

2. The younger should submit to
The elder.

3. God resist the proud
But gives grace to the humble.

4. God will give the crown of glory to
The Christians
Who feed the younger
And submit to the elder.

I. The Importance of Cell Grouping
A. It provides
The opportunity to feed the flock.

B. It gives the team (cell group)
The ability to evangelize and
Win souls.

C. It makes way for
Fellowship
And sharing.

It produces
Leaders.

II. God resists the proud
But gives grace to the humble.

A. Who are the proud?
1. Those who say they have matured
As Christians but
Do not shepherd the younger Christians.

2. Those who do not submit to the
Authority given to them

The mighty hand of God is the authority God gave to us.
Namely:
1. your pastor
2. your G-12 leader
3. leaders of the nation. From the president down to the barrangay tanod.
4. all police officers.
B. Who are the humble?
1. Those who submit to authority.
2. Thos who take responsibility
To shepherd God’s flock
Which He purchased with His blood.

Acceptable Service To God

Romans 14:17-19 

17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
19Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Introduction:
1. The Kingdom of God is in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
2. Those who serve the Lord in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit are acceptable to God.
3. Let us pursue things that make for peace.

I. Let us seek to serve God in His Kingdom.
A. All things will be added to us.
B. We are sure to go to heaven if we serve God in His Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit.
C. Remain obedient to the King
Stay in the Church where He wants you to be.
Get a hold of eternal life – fight the good fight of faith.

II. Serve in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
1. Remain in righteousness
2. Have peace with all men. “If you remember somebody has ought against you, make peace with him.
3. Be joyful in the Lord.
