INTRODUCTION
1. Jacob first saw in a dream that the flock were according to his wages from Laban.
2. Jacob acted on the dream. And Jacob took him rods of fresh poplar, and of the almond and of the plane-tree. And peeled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. And he set the rods which he had peeled over against the flocks in the gutters in the watering-troughs where the flocks came to drink; and they conceived when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and the flocks brought forth ringstreaked, speckled, and spotted. (Genesis 30:37-39 ASV)

A. While it is yet a dream, remain in Jesus. No Compromise.
B. Remain in the church.

II. ACTIONS OF OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD IS THE EVIDENCE OF FAITH.
A. WE NEED FAITH AND PATIENCE WHILE WE WAIT. that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:12 ASV)
B. DO NOT GIVE UP. As long as you know Jesus is there with you, go on, do not stop.until you receive.

All of us face failures. But the difference between the winner and the loser is this: winners face problem with faith in the midst of failure. Losers face their problem as a defeat. Quitters don't win. Winners don't quit. Take Pia Worscback. She failed in many beauty pageants but did not quit. She ended up as Miss Universe. SHE DID NOT GIVE UP ON HER DREAM.
